Thank You for 12+Years

Bollywood Mixtape officially closed on July 2020.  It was more than just a dance school. The program incorporated  filmmaking and audio production. I wanted to share my industry knowledge with the students.  Most of my general work involved around Indian Performing Arts. At that time, there were no Dance Schools in California that included this type of combination.  The annual event was a variety show. It was a compilation of artistic expression from dance performances on stage and film to such variety as singers performing and dancing with back up dancers; even students making music videos and showcasing  on the big movie screen. Hence calling it Bollywood Mixtape.  It’s a rare type of show and the students expressing great joy in the San Diego community. I was known for fusing Indian Performing Arts with Western influences. Others would say, I brought Hip Hop vibes through Indian Music.  Nonetheless, seeing the children enjoying themselves on stage or on film and their families smiling and cheering them on is something I cherish the most and also built long-lasting the friendships along the way.
